Magnetron Geoscan respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the Magnetron Geoscan mobile application handles information when you use its features.
1. Information We Collect
Magnetron Geoscan does not require users to create an account or provide personal information such as name, address, phone number, or email address to use the application.
The application does not contain advertising or advertising tracking systems.
2. Device Sensor Data
The Phone Sensor Demo feature may access compatible magnetic sensors available on the user's Android device.
Sensor measurements are processed locally on the device for demonstration and visualization purposes. The Phone Sensor feature is intended as a demonstration and entertainment feature and is not a professional metal detector or subsurface scanning system.
3. Magnetron Hardware Communication
The PMD Metal Detector and Magnetron CORE features are designed to communicate with compatible Magnetron Geoscan hardware.
Communication between the application and compatible hardware may occur through a local Wi-Fi network using local network communication protocols.
Measurement and device data received through this connection are processed by the application to provide live visualization, scanning, mapping, and analysis functions.
This local hardware communication does not automatically transmit measurement data to Magnetron Geoscan servers.
4. Scan Files and Local Storage
Magnetron CORE may create scan and measurement files on the user's device. These files are stored locally on the device and can be used by the application's analysis functions.
The application also includes sample scan datasets that allow users to explore certain analysis features without connecting Magnetron CORE hardware.
Locally stored scan files are not automatically uploaded to Magnetron Geoscan servers.
Users can manage or delete locally stored files using the functionality available on their device.
5. Data Sharing
Magnetron Geoscan does not sell users' personal information.
The application does not automatically share locally generated magnetic measurement or scan data with advertisers or data brokers.
6. Third-Party Services
The application may rely on standard Android operating system functionality necessary to provide application features. Use of the Google Play platform is also subject to Google's applicable terms and privacy policies.
7. Data Security
Magnetron Geoscan is designed to minimize the collection and transmission of user information. Measurement processing and scan storage described above are primarily performed locally on the user's device.
Users are responsible for maintaining appropriate security for their Android device and locally stored files.
8. Data Retention and Deletion
Magnetron Geoscan does not maintain user accounts within the application.
Locally generated scan files remain on the user's device until they are deleted by the user or otherwise removed through the device's storage management functions.
Because the application does not create a Magnetron Geoscan user account, there is no application account requiring deletion.
9. Children's Privacy
Magnetron Geoscan is not specifically designed or directed toward children. The application is intended for users interested in magnetic field measurement, compatible Magnetron hardware, and data analysis.
